Prof. Sudeep Chakravarti is currently Executive Director, Stepwell Centre for Asian Futures; Professor of Practice; and Chair, Communication Programme at Ahmedabad University. His research interests include Foreign Policy, South Asian Affairs, Indian Ocean Affairs, Geo-economics, Internal Security, the intersection of Democracy and Development, Northeast India, Eastern South Asia, and the intersection of Business and Human Rights. Before joining Ahmedabad University in October 2024, he was the Founder-Director of the Center for South Asian Studies (C-SAS) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). He is an Advisor to the General Management and Public Policy Area at the Goa Institute of Management. He is the author of ten books that encompass history, ethnography, conflict, and conflict resolution, geopolitics, geo-economics, and the intersection of democracy and development. These include The Eastern Gate: War and Peace in Nagaland, Manipur and India’s Far East (Simon and Schuster, 2022); Plassey: The Battle that Changed the Course of Indian History (Aleph Book Company, 2020); The Bengalis: A Portrait of a Community (Aleph, 2017); Highway 39 (Fourth Estate, 2012); and Red Sun (Penguin, 2009). Fallen City, his crime-and-political narrative set in 1970s and 1980s Delhi, was published in August 2024 (Aleph). He began his career at The Asian Wall Street Journal and subsequently held leadership positions at Sunday, India Today, the India Today Group, and HT Media in a media career spanning thirty-five years.

Dr. Debapriya Bhattacharya is Member of the Board of Trustees and Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), Dhaka. A macroeconomist and public policy analyst, he was appointed by the Interim Government of Bangladesh to lead the committee for the preparation of the “White Paper on the State of Bangladesh’s Economy – Dissection of a Development Narrative” (November 2024). He has served as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the UN Offices in Geneva and Vienna, and was Special Advisor on Least Developed Countries (LDCs) to the Secretary-General of UNCTAD, President of the UNCTAD governing board, and Coordinator of the LDC Group in the UN system. He is a member of the United Nations Committee for Development Policy (CDP), and serves on the Supervisory Board of BRAC International, which operates across 10 countries in Africa and Asia. Dr. Bhattacharya has held visiting positions at academic institutions in the USA and Europe and undertaken numerous international consultancy assignments. He served as General Secretary of the Bangladesh Economic Association for three consecutive terms and was a Senior Research Fellow at the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS). His publications with Routledge include Southern Perspectives on the Post-2015 International Development Agenda (2016), Bangladesh’s Graduation from the Least Developed Countries Group – Pitfalls and Promises (2018), COVID-19 and Bangladesh: Inclusion, Disaggregation and Transition (2024), and Effective Development Cooperation: New Evidence from the Global South (2025).

Prof. Sajjad M. Jasimuddin is Senior Professor and Head of Geopolitics Lab at KEDGE Business School. Previously, he was a faculty at Aberystwyth University (UK), Southampton University (UK), King Abdulaziz University (Saudi Arabia) and University of Dhaka (Bangladesh). He is a visiting Professor at Renmin University of China (IFC) and the University of Dubai (UAE). He is one of the World’s 2% Research Scientists. The 2026 Edition of the Research.com (Best Scientists in Business and Management field Ranking) ranked Sajjad 54 in France and 2689 in the world. His research interests include International Business, Knowledge Management, Technology and digital innovation, CSR, and Geopolitics. He has authored a textbook, book chapters, and 140 double blind peer-reviewed journal articles, with over 70% have appeared in 4*/3*-ranked journals. Sajjad’s research outputs have appeared in scientific journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, Frontiers in Political Science, Information Systems Journal, International Business Review, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, International Journal of Production Research, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Journal of Operational Research Society, Thunderbird International Business Review, and Journal of Knowledge Management. His articles are cited over 6186 times (Google citation) with an H-index of 41 and i10-index of 87. He is an Associate Editor of Journal of Global Information Management, Journal of Organizational and End User Computing, and Sustainable Communities. Sajjad is also an editorial advisory board member and reviewer of various journals including International Business Review, British Journal of Management, Journal of Information and Knowledge Management, Review of International Business & Strategy, and International Journal of Development and Conflict.

Prof. Sebastian Morris is Senior Professor and Chair of the Centre for Public Policy and Governance at the Goa Institute of Management. He retired from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad after over 25 years of teaching, research and consultation. His principal interests are the Indian economy, infrastructure development and regulation, the public sector and governance, international trade and investments, macroeconomics, and small industry.
His recent books have been: Macroeconomic Policy in India since the Global Financial Crisis – Trends, Policies and Challenges in Economic Revival Post COVID (Springer Nature, 2022); (ed.) The Difficulty of Being Gajendra Haldea – Reflections on His Life and Legacy (Bloomsbury, 2023) and (ed.) The India Infrastructure Report 2023 – Urban Planning and Development (Bloomsbury, 2023). He is also one of the chief editors of the International Journal of Development and Conflict.

Prof. Kingshuk Sarkar is Professor and Chair of the General Management and Public Policy Area at the Goa Institute of Management. He is also a member of the CPPG. He had earlier served as labour administrator for more than two decades with the Govt. of West Bengal. His interests include labour & industrial economics, development economics, business economics, labour administration and labour laws, plantation economics and labour, labour laws and labour administration, employment relations and informal labour. In the past, he has worked as a faculty at the V.V. Giri National Labour Institute, Noida specializing in labour laws and labour administration. He has also worked as Assistant Professor in the National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad, in connection with works related to BPL Census 2011.
